Name Of Man Struck By Jeep Released

The man struck and critically injured in a Falls Township crash Wednesday evening was a bicyclist.

According to Falls police, the critically injured man has been identified as Scott Thomas Updegrave, who has no listed address or age.

A Yardley woman driving a 2006 Jeep struck Updegrave at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday on Woolson Drive near Lincoln Highway, police said.

The Yardley woman stopped and was interviewed by officers, officials said. Drugs or alcohol do not appear to have played a role in the crash, Lt. Hank Ward said.

Updegrave was rushed from the crash scene to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown.
