Small Blaze In Levittown Brings Out Several Fire Companies

An electrical problem in the soffit of a Levittown house caused a fire Monday morning.

The small blaze drew firefighters to the house in the 200 block of Indian Creek Drive around 8:25 a.m.

The fire was small and was placed under control within 15 minutes, Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said, adding the cause was ruled accidental.

The homeowner discovered the small blaze and alerted fire crews.

No injuries were reported and the home remained habitable, Dippolito said.

The Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s Office Engine 225, Edgely Fire Company, Fairless Hills Fire Company, Levittown Fire Company No. 2 and the Newportville Fire Company responded. The Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue squad was on the scene along with police.
