Detective Doug Slemmer wrote in an affidavit of probable cause that Griffith sexually assaulted the 17-year-old girl while in the shed in the rear of his property on Emilie Road in late November. The sexual assault reportedly began when the two went into the shed to smoke marijuana and Griffith gave the the girl vodka.
“When are you turning 18?” Griffith allegedly asked the girl after grabbing her buttocks during the marijuana smoking session.
Griffith placed his hands down the 17 year old’s pants and ended up penetrating her vagina, police said.

Griffith ended the sexual assault by putting the teen’s hand down his pants and asking her to perform oral sex on him, according to court papers.
