A local Christmas tradition 23 years in the making shows no signs of slowing down.

Neil Dispirito of Falls Township has been adorning the outside of his house at 1 White Spruce Lane in Levittown with a magnificent display of Christmas cheer for more than 20 years. According to Dispirito, the inspiration came from a home in the Kenwood section that he used to pass as a kid.

“As a child, I used to walk by the house, and I always  said I wanted to do the same thing when I got a house,” Dispirito recalled.

The display is never the same and there are always additions. The display features more than 100,000 lights and multiple ground displays.

The Men of Harmony performed before Santa arrived. Last year, the Grinch stole the show before Santa could arrive to save the day.

Santa visits the home every Saturday from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and on Christmas Eve. Although Dispirito doesn’t accept donations, he asks in his flyer that donations be made to Levittown Fire Company No. 1.
