

South Flowers Mill Road in Middletown is expected to reopen by Thanksgiving.
Township Manager Stephanie Teoli Kuhls told LevittownNow.com the contractor working on the project has “assured us he will be completed by Thanksgiving.”

Contractors have been working since mid-September to completely rebuild the roadway. Crews also worked to reduce one of the steep hills, add new shoulders, updated drainage and build retaining walls.
The project was recently delayed due to relocation of a utility pole, Teoli Kuhls said.
James D. Morrissey Inc. of Philadelphia is working on the project that is being paid as part of several project being financed by a $5 million bond.
