The Secondary Transition Night will include a number of resources for students to check out, including a panel which will be discussing education, employment, and independent living needs, according to a process release provided by the Intermediate Unit. The panel will speak from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

“Students and their parents will be able to collect information from over 30 colleges, trade schools, employment agencies and local adult service providers that will display information,” the release reads. In addition to specific institution questions, students will receive a packet with tips on transitioning to college, tips for self-advocacy, and guiding questions for students to ask employment services or adult service agencies, said the press release.
