Pennsylvania State Police say the driver of a 2008 Mazda 3 swerved in front of a tractor-trailer along I-95 in Bristol Township late Wednesday afternoon, causing a crash.

The driver of the Mazda, a Solebury woman, swerved directly in front on the tractor-trailer that was driven by a Philadelphia man on the southbound lanes of the highway near the Bristol exit around 4:50 p.m., state police said.

Despite trying to stop, the tractor-trailer collided with the Mazda and pushed it off the highway. The Mazda ended up stopping near the tree line, and the truck came to rest blocking one lane of travel, according to troopers.

State police said no injuries were reported.

Traffic in the area of the crash was backed up for a period of time following the crash.
