If the clouds end up clearing, Bucks County residents will be able to see a rocket launch Wednesday evening.
According to NASA, a suborbital test rocket will be launched from the Wallops Island, Virginia test facility between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday.ย The launch was originally postponed a day due to weather.

While NASA officials say Bucks County residents should be able to see the rocket streaking into the sky about five minutes after launch, forecasted cloudy weather will likely get in the way.
About six minutes after launch, the rocket “will deploy four sub-payloads containing mixtures of barium and strontium … creating a cloud that is blue-green and red in color,” according to a NASA statement.
If the weather clears, the rocket flight could be visible to residents as far away as Long Island, New York and Morehead, North Carolina.
