“Manufacturing is a great employment field that provides tremendous earning and promotional opportunities,” said Lauren Loeffler, executive director of the Center for Workforce Development. “We’re hosting this open house to help spread the important message about the growth and importance of manufacturing to our local and national economy.”

The open house, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the facility in the Bridge Business Center off of Route 413, also includes an information session about the college’s successful metalwork training program.

The metalwork training program, funded by a federal grant administered through the County of Bucks, partners with local manufacturers to provide well-trained entry-level employees to help fill their hiring needs.  Tours of the facility will be available after the information session.  Meet instructors, business supporters and college staff to learn more about training opportunities.
