Firefighters Quickly Put Down Apartment Fire

Firefighters made a quick stop on a Saturday afternoon blaze at a Bristol Township apartment complex.

The fire filled an apartment at the Edgely Estates complex with a smoke condition when volunteer firefighters arrived, according to Edgely Fire Company Carl Pierce.

The firefighters located the location of the flamesย and were quickly able to put it out, Pierce said.

“It could have quickly gotten a lot worse, but they put it out fast,” the chief said.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
