Below are the plans from Tullytown police:

Tullytown Borough is preparing for next weekend, September 26th and 27th during the Popeโ€™s visit to Philadelphia and the impact it may have to our community. In order to keep you informed we want to provide you with the most up to date information we have. All available information advises for above normal traffic patterns in and around the region. EXPECT TRAFFIC DELAYS.

It is encouraged to do your weekend errands during the week if possible. SEPTA ticket sales for the Levittown Train Station are not anticipated to be as large as SEPTA originally predicted and we feel that our parking management plan is sufficient to meet the needs for the community and commuters using the Levittown Train Station. SEPTA will NOT be selling tickets Saturday or Sunday during the event.

We want to point out the following off street parking locations are the parking lots of: Saint Michael Church, the PECO greenbelt area, SEPTA Northbound parking lot and SEPTA Southbound parking lot (Behind the old Wm. Penn Bank). ALL PARKING LOCATIONS ARE FREE

NOTE: SEPTA Southbound parking lot at the train station will be closed for train station crowd management.

SEPTA train commuters are encouraged to be dropped off and picked up for this event which will assist in the reduction of our parking footprint. Our parking management plan calls for an express drop off point which has been established using the jug handle from RT 13 (N) to the Levittown Parkway. The jug handle will be used solely for train station drop offs.

Throughout the weekend additional Police, Fire, EMS and Public Works will be on staff. SEPTA will have representatives at the Levittown Station throughout the weekend to address any concerns or questions customers may have.

Road Closures :
Fallsington ave starting at the bottom of the bridge towards the train station.
RT 13 Northbound jug handle exit to Levittown Parkway.
RT 13 Southbound exit to the Fallsington ave bridge will be open only to local traffic.
