Ace is an Olde English Bulldog/pit bull mix who arrived at that Women’s Humane Society in March when his owner passed away. Ace is an active pup who wants nothing more than the chance to run in the play yard and chase a tennis ball. Ace is only fourteen months old so he still has some puppy energy. He would do well with an active family who will include him in all kinds of fun activities and adventures like running or going for a hike. Because Ace is a giant puppy, he still has a few manners to learn but with a little love and patience, he would be the perfect addition for the right family. Lucky is a six year old domestic shorthair who came to the Women’s Humane Society in December 2014. He was adopted in February but was returned in July when his owner fell on hard times and could no longer care for him. Lucky is a big, sweet boy who loves attention and would love nothing more than to be in a forever home again. When he isn’t head butting your hand for pets, he will happily roll onto his side for belly rubs. If you are looking for a medium energy cat who is simply happy just to be near you without being demanding anything else than love, then Lucky is the cat for you!
