While Bristol Borough police officers were on the hunt for the man who allegedly stabbed his estranged girlfriend, they were forced to bring another man into custody after an unrelated police chase.
Borough officers noted they were searching for stabbing suspect James Anton, 36, when they discovered a motorcycle with two subjects leaving the area of Radcliffe Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police said the rear passenger had a mask covering his face.

When police activated their emergency lights and attempted to pull the motorcycle over, the driver fled out of the borough at a high rate of speed, disregarding numerous stop signs and red lights, according to an affidavit. Officers said the motorcycle was eventually stopped after it crossed Bristol Township and ended up in Bensalem at Bensalem Boulevard and Texas Street, when both the driver and passenger fled on foot from police.
While the passenger was apprehended by Bensalem police, the driver – identified as Levittown resident Corey Webb, 34 – was caught by borough police, where he was found to be in possession of a plastic container containing suspected meth.
Webb was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, recklessly endangering another person, possession of a controlled substance, driving an unregistered vehicle, and driving without insurance. He was arraigned Tuesday and sent to prison on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.

Webb awaits a preliminary hearing set for September 30.
