Bristol Township police are investigating a robbery and attempted robbery that happened last weekend.
The first incident happened last Saturday around 4:30 p.m. when a man allegedly pulled a knife on a clerk at the gas station at the Five Points intersection in Levitttown, police said.

The clerk reported the male suspect walked up with a pocket knife but was scared off after the clerk grabbed a chair, police said.
Middletown police’s K-9 unit responded and tracked the suspect’s scent to an area behind the building. The K-9 handler said the suspect likely escaped in a car because the track disappeared, police reported.
Officers also reportedly encountered a language barrier with the clerk and had no luck obtaining surveillance video from the area.

On Sunday, police responded to the Green Lane Apartments for the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers discovered a Chinese food delivery man was the victim.
The delivery man told officers he was struck in the head with a rock and robbed in the area of Apartment 17, police said.

Acting Lt. Ralph Johnson told LevittownNow.com that officers did not get a good description of the suspect due to a language barrier.
Officers over the weekend also handled a domestic incident where a man was treated at the hospital for a five-inch gash on his head. Police said they suspect the man was struck with a aluminum bat. The man was not cooperative and no charges were filed.
