The areas to be treated include the entirety of the Oaktree, Red Cedar, Holly Hill and Dogwood sections.

County technicians will be driving a dark green Ford Ranger spray truck with the county logo and BU number 0107 on the side.ย  There will also be a lead truck, a blue Ford Ranger pickup with similar identification.ย  The chemical to be used will be Duet applied at the rate of one (1) ounce per acre.ย According to the Pennsylvania DEP, the product is designed to provide quick, effective control of adult mosquito populations. The application material has a very low toxicity profile to mammals and will have negligible impact to non-target insects and the environment.
