A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Tullytown Saturday morning.
Police confirmed the incident happened near SEPTA’s Levittown station, which also shares tracks with Amtrak’s heavily-traveled Northeast Corridor.

The strike happened around 10:25 a.m. and involved an Amtrak train, according to authorities.
Local authorities along with Amtrak investigators worked on the tracks by the aging train station. Several evidence markers were laid along the tracks as crews milled about the scene.

Amtrak officials said train service along the Northeast Corridor was delayed by the incident.
The Bucks County Coroner’s Office was request to the scene by emergency officials at the tracks.
