The county will be driving a dark green Ford Ranger spray truck with the county logo and BU number 0107 on the side.ย  There will also be a lead truck, a blue Ford Ranger pickup with similar identification.ย  The chemical to be used will be Duet applied at the rate of 1 ounce per acre. According to the Pennsylvania DEP, the product is designed to provide quick, effective control of adult mosquito populations. The application material has a very low toxicity profile to mammals and will have negligible impact to non-target insects and the environment.
