A truck hit the railroad bridge in Middletown late Thursday morning.
Police advised drivers shortly before noon to avoid South Flowers Mill Road for an hour while crews worked to free a truck that became wedged under the railroad bridge.

First responders were detouring traffic from South Flowers Mill Road between Maple Avenue (Route 213) and West Lincoln Highway.
There was no immediate word on injuries.
