A man was nearly stabbed by a suspect with a screw driver Tuesday morning in Falls Township.
Officers rushed to the Home Depot on Commerce Boulevard at 10:09 a.m. following reports of an incident.

The victim told officers he left the Home Depot and found a man inside of his vehicle. When confronted, a struggle ensued and the suspect pulled a screw driver and tried to stab the victim, police said.
Bystanders came to the victim’s aid once it became clear what was happening, police said.
The suspect ended up fleeing in a gold Cadillac with New Jersey plate RTS-791. The plate was likely stolen from a Honda, authorities said.

The suspect is described as a black male of thin build, late 50s, around 5-foot-9 and with a scruffy beard.
