The Bucks County Sheriff’s Office has joined with the Travis Manion Foundation in assisting veterans who have returned from Active Duty.
The office will provide two veterans with internships within the office, as a way of them adjusting to civilian life and testing out a future in law enforcement. Both men, Michael Vasconez of Ottsville and Jon Marc W. Thomas, of Philadelphia, are veterans of the United States Marine Corps.

“It’s great to support our veterans who have given so much for our country,” said Bucks County Sheriff Edward “Duke” Donnelly “To give them an opportunity to help plan their future in law enforcement, I couldn’t be happier with this program and feel honored to be working with the Travis Manion Foundation.”
Both men will be with the sheriff’s office through the end of the summer.
