“You are a part of Pennsbury, and you are what makes us whole,” Senior Ryan McHenry told the Class of 2015. “The world is ready for you.”
Superintendent Dr. Kevin McHugh proudly announced the class received $15.4 million in scholarships.
“Graduates, as you see – there are a lot of people here this evening ‘proud of you’ for your many accomplishments – academic, athletic, artistic and for facing challengers and overcoming them, and for reaching for this milestone in your lives. Never forget that those gathered here love you always, no matter what,” McHugh said during his speech.

“This graduation ceremony is the highlight of my year,” school board President Gary Sanderson said.

Senior Ashley Goldberg, daughter of school board member Howard Goldberg, spoke to her peers about challenges and facing them head on. “Class of 2015: I implore you – take not the easy path – but the hard one. Its rewards will be great,” she said.

“Tonight, as our high school journey comes to an end and we begin our journeys through the rest of our lives, I wish you the greatest of success. But by ‘success’ all I really mean is finding happiness in your life,” Senior Jacob Wachpress, son of school board member Debra Wachspress, told his classmates. His speech focused on where the students have been and preparing for their next journey.
The students sat shoulder to shoulder on the football field as their family and friends looked on, taking in their accomplishment.
At the end of the ceremony, the seniors threw their white and black hats above them in unison.
