A homeless man accused of making threats last summer will head to trial.
Curtis Camer, 60, a familiar face in the area of the Five Point intersection and Levittown Library, had charges of false alarm of agency of public safety, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, escape, disorderly conduct and harassment forwarded to Doylestown by District Judge Robert Wagner Tuesday morning.

Camer is accused of calling the Bucks County 9-1-1 Center last July and saying there was a “guy with a gun heading towards Wagner’s.” The caller was referring to Judge Robert Wager’s district court on New Falls Road, police said.
Shortly before Camer allegedly made the call, an officer had made contact with the 60 year old and asked him not to loiter at the bus stop near the Rite Aid store on New Falls Road, according to court papers. An officer wrote in court papers that Camer had a handcuff attached to his belt when the patrolman rolled up.
After receiving the threatening call, officers were dispatched to the area of the court and found Camer at a gas station by the Five Points intersection.

Camer pushed his shopping cart into New Falls Road and ran through traffic around the Five Points intersection until officers were able to tackle him near the Golden Dawn Diner.
The 60 year old also reportedly threatened to “break” an officer in half once he was in custody, police said.

Camer was jailed from July until he was released on non-momentary bail in late March.
