Bucks for Kids is a non-profit 501ยฉ (3) all volunteer organization established in 1991ย by members of the Children and Youth Advisory Board to provide financial assistance to individual children receiving services from BCCYSS.
Since B4K began, over 5,000 individual children have been awarded substantial financial assistanceย for everything from summer camp tuition, to class trip funding, to graduation photos, to job training costs and most importantly, college scholarships. Every year since 1991, the Bucks County Commissioners have proclaimed June as โGraduate Month,โ to celebrate Bucks for Kidsโ granting of thousands of dollars of scholarships to graduating Bucks County high school seniors. In many cases, without this funding, these students could not continue their post high school education.
