Nearly 50 runners took part in the third annual Detective Christopher Jones 5K race in Middletown last Saturday.

According to Maura McCormick, an organizer of the event, the race was a big success. Inside the Detective Christopher Jones Memorial park, people walked and ran three times around to complete the 5k goal.
