The new law, whichย makes it extremely difficult forย the county and others in southeastern Pennsylvania to host it’s own event, helps to regulate electronic disposal with even stricter guidelines, according to officials.
The event will allow residents to dispose of cell phones, computers, laptops, televisions, radios, wires, cables, CDs, video games and other household electronic waste items in a safe and legal way. Items with freon, like air conditioners or refrigerators, will not be accepted. Materials from businesses, industries or institutions will not be accepted.
Residents are advised thatย collection will not take place at Buttonwood Park during the event, instead all residents will be directed to the event on Township Line Road.
