A construction worker was injured in an accident at the job Wednesday in Falls Township.
Officers and medics responded to the 9700 block of Lowell Drive at 2:50 p.m. and found a worker who severed his left hand at the wrist with a saw while working on a home, police said.

The victim, a 30-year-old man from Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, was rushed to St. Mary Medical Center’s trauma center for treatment.
The victim’s condition was not available as of Thursday morning.
