Tornado Watch Issued For Lower Bucks County

A tornado watch was issued for Bucks County Monday.

The watch went into effect at 3 p.m. and will last until 10 p.m. The watch also includes several other counties in central and southeastern Pennsylvania, according to a National Weather Service message.

Forecasters also issued a hazardous weather outlook for the region for evening thunderstorms that may bring strong winds, hail and lightening.

Monday started with heavy rain that led to sunny skies by 2 p.m.

 

  • Monday Night: Showers and thunderstorms before 2am, then a chance of showers. Low around 55. South wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. West wind 11 to 15 mph.
  • Tuesday Night:Mostly clear, with a low around 49. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph.
  • Wednesday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 65. Southwest wind 7 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  • Wednesday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  • Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 56.
  • Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 38.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 56.
  • Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 38.
