Bristol Township has some reminders regarding yard waste and its collection.
Yard waste collection, which can include grass, leaves, clippings and branches, is scheduled to begin in the township on April 20.

According to a recent press release by the township, yard waste needs to be placed in a rigid and bio-degradable container marked ‘yard waste’. Yard waste must not be placed in residents recycling or refuse containers, or in plastic bags.
If residents are disposing of any branches, those branches must be cut into lengths less than four feet long and should be tied or bundled with string or twine.
Collection of yard waste will take place on resident’s regular collection day.
