Three local residents were scooped up in a large drug sweep in Philadelphia.
City police said Friday that Christine Miller, 26, of Bristol Township; Joshua Kanterman, 27, of Falls Township and Amber Cox, 26, of Lower Makefield, were arrested in the operation that was aimed to stop drug dealing in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

Kanterman and Cox were arrested in the 2900 block of Rosehill Street, according to police. They said Miller was nabbed in the 100 block of East Somerset Street.
Police said about 55 other people in total were arrested, they were a mix of dealers and purchasers. Twenty four vehicles were confiscated and several warrants were executed following the arrests.
“Areas of east division (Kensington) are heavily traveled by dozens of school children and parents on a daily basis, who must take their journey through these drug riddled neighborhoods,” a statement from police said.

All three were freed on unsecured bail.
