Charges Pending Following Vehicle Pursuit

An attempted traffic stop kicked off a vehicle chase that started in Middletown and ended in New Jersey, according to authorities.

Pennsylvania State Police said trooper tried to pull over a gray Dodge Ram pickup truck on I-95 north of the Levittown exit around 1:45 p.m. last Tuesday. The vehicle allegedly did not stop for state police and they chased it into New Jersey, according to a press release. State police did not release where in New Jersey the vehicle ended up stopping.

Troopers said the investigation is continuing and charges against the driver are pending.
