‘A Piece of My Heart’ Comes To Pennsbury For Spring Drama

Pennsbury High School has announced that the drama department will be performing “A Piece of My Heart” on April 10 and April 11.

“A Piece of My Heart” tells the story of six women who went to Vietnam, five nurses, and a country singer. The play tells their true stories and portrays the women before, during, and after their time in Vietnam.

“It gives the cast and crew and audience a new insight into an era and issue that they have heard about, but not viewed form this perspective,” said director of the drama Mary Kay Everett.

Tickets are $7 and will be available for purchase at the door. The play will be put on in the Orange auditorium at Pennsbury High School West, at 609 S. Olds Boulevard. Both nights’ shows will begin at 7:30 p.m.
