Middletown Detective Recognized At Board of Supervisors Meeting

The Middletown Board of Supervisors recognized Detective David Stother at their regular agenda meeting on Monday, March 16.

Stother was recognized for action that he took in October to apprehend a suspect. The area that the suspect was apprehended in was experiencing an increase in residential burglaries.

According to a letter read at the meeting, a quick apprehension followed a confrontation with the suspect and a brief foot chase.

The suspect was charged with “attempted burglary, and other related offenses,” said Middletown Police Chief Joseph Bartorilla.
