A Bristol Township man has been charged with allegedly selling heroin.
Lower Makefield police said Timothy Leach Jr, 26, sold three bags of heroin to undercover officers two different times in March at his home on Newport Road in Bristol Township.

Working with Penndel police, undercover officers from the two departments arranged controlled heroin buys near Leach’s home in 2014. In total, 20 bags were purchased in 2014, police said.
Authorities from Lower Makefield said they were familiar with Leach since spring 2012 when they first learned he was allegedly trafficking cocaine in Lower Bucks County.
Along with Bristol Township police, Penndel and Lower Makefield authorities served a search warrant on Leach’s home Tuesday. Leach was taken into custody without incident.

Inside the home, police found heroin, a digital scale and the cellphone used to set up the March drug buys, according to a press release.
Leach was sent to prison on a violation of probation warrant and an open domestic relations warrant, police said.

Lower Makefield and Penndel authorities have filed arrest warrants for Leach related to his alleged drug dealing. Some charges included on those warrants are drug delivery and criminal use of a communication facility.
Lower Makefield police said Leach is also a suspect in a 2012 drug investigation, but no charges related to that case have been filed.
