He was charged with two felony counts ofย manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, one felony count of criminal use of a communication facility, two misdemeanor counts ย of possession of a controlled substance, and one ticket for obscured plates in a October and December 2014 arrest.

According to Middletown police, the CI had met with Brearey on several occasions and at several locations to purchase methamphetamine, before becoming involved in the police investigation. Polic noted in the probable cause affidavit the CI had no prior or pending criminal charges.

While Brearey is known to be a resident of Philadelphia, he commonly spends a lot of his time at the Inn of the Dove in Bensalem, the Wawa near his home, and the Sunoco on Richlieu Road, according to the CI.

Once Brearey’s identity was confirmed by both police and the CI, police arranged for a methamphetamine purchase between Brearrey and the CI at the Sunoco gas station in Bensalem on October 21. The CI was given $50 of prerecorded buy money and police observed as the exchange was made for 3 1/2 grams of meth. After the exchange, and Brearey left the location, the drugs were taken into evidence by police.

On December 11, investigation of Brearey’s activity in the area of Street Road and Richlieu Road began again, this time by Bensalem police, according to court documents.

Brearey’s vehicle, a gray Nissan sedan, was pulled over for a routine traffic stop after police observed his registration plate had a dark tinted cover, and was not illuminated.

At the scene, Brearey was found to be in possession of 16 bags of suspected meth. Brearey admitted to police he intended to sellย the drugs.

Police noted the arrest occurred within 1,000 feet of Faust Elementary School in the Bensalem Township School District.

Brearey was arraigned on both cases by Judge Joseph Falcone on March 19, where his bail was set at 10 percent of $100,000 for his October arrest, and 10 percent of $150,000 for his December arrest. He remains in Bucks County Prison until his preliminary hearings; one is scheduled for April 2, the other April 8.
