Snow Expected On First Day Of Spring

Snow is expected to welcome the first day of spring.

Forecasters are calling for 2 to 3 inches of snow on Friday, which is the spring equinox. The storm will begin in the morning and continuing into midday before mixing and possibly changing over to rain. The National Weather Service is calling for a high temperature of 36 degrees.

A winter weather advisory was issued for the area and will run Friday from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Parts of Upper Bucks County could see 3 to 6 inches of snow.

The National Weather Service said hazardous travel conditions in Lower Bucks County could cause some problems.
