Falls Police Department To Offer Youth Police Academy This Summer

Falls Township Police are hosting a summer Youth Police Academy.

The program will run from July 15 to July 30 and is intended for high school age students who are interested in a career in law enforcement.

Activities that participants will partake in include criminal and motor law, crime scene investigation, patrol scenarios, firearms and use of force, K-9 and SWAT demonstrations, physical training, military drill, teamwork and leadership, fire departments and rescue squads, and much more, according to a release by the police department.

All applicants are required to submit a complete application before the academy begins. All applicants will also have a background check conducted on them.
