A Levittown native will be appearing on Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen” Tuesday night.
Philly.com interviewed area native Christine Hazel ahead of the cooking competition show’s season opener, hosted by famed chef Gordon Ramsay.

“[Ramsay] has a huge persona and his energy is contagious,” she told newspaper reporter Jenny DeHuff. “He has a way of making you want to be a better chef. At first, I was nervous, but once you meet him, it kind of goes away and he just becomes your boss.”
Hazel, who is a chef adviser for Chickies and Pete’s, will be part of a viewing party Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the location inside Bensalem’s Parx Casino.
