A winter storm warning was issued for the Levittown area Sunday morning.
The warning came in the hours before a winter storm was expected to bring some snow and possibly ice to the region. Forecasters predicted 1 to 3 inches of snow and a “significant” accumulation of ice, which could cause slippery conditions.

The snow is expected to start late Sunday morning and transition over to sleet and freezing rain as the day goes on. The precipitation is expected to end by the end of the evening.
