Middletown Police Look For Truck That Struck Officer

A Middletown Township police officer was struck by a part of a pickup truck Friday morning.

The officer was assisting a disabled motorist along Langhorne-Yardley Road east of Bridgetown Pike around 7:30 a.m. when a black Nissan Titan pickup truck struck him with its mirror, police said.

The pickup left the scene without stopping.

Police said the officer was not seriously injured.

Anyone with information on the vehicle and its driver is asked to call police at 215-949-1000.
