One big volunteering feet that Noe’s whole family partakes in is an event with the Jewish Relief Agency, which occurs eight times throughout the year. For this event, volunteers donate, pack, and then deliver food to people of great need all throughout the Philadelphia region.

“Emma Noe of Langhorne ., a junior at Neshaminy High School, has made a difference in the community by demonstrating dedication and commitment through her extracurricular activities and volunteer work,” said released information. Noe spends time cleaning parks such as Core Creek Park and time in soup kitchens.

Noe found out that she won the award in the middle of Dec., and can’t wait to visit Widener’s campus. Noe described winning the award, saying, “It was quite a surprise, a big shock. I’ve heard great things about Widener, and I am very excited to see it,” explained Noe.
