A man who once ran for Tullytown Borough Council is expected to plead guilty to drug charges.
Stuart Gelber, 54, of Tullytown, had several charges related to his January arrest for drugs withdrawn by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office this week in exchange for a guilty plea when his case come before a judge in Doylestown. Gelber still faces possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Gelber was arrested after Tullytown police said he sold Oxycodone to the informant on November 13 and November 14. The first sale happened in the 400 block of Main Street and the other sale happened at the Walmart in the Levittown Town Center, both locations in Tullytown, police allege.
Gelber previously ran for Tullytown Borough Council and also served on the youth aid panel, a court alternative that handles minor first-time offenses committed by juveniles. He also has a 2010 drug conviction.
The 54 year old remains in Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $25,000 bail.
