Power has been restored to 272 customers impacted during a Tuesday morning outage.
The outage impacted residents in Levittown starting at 10:30 a.m. after a contractor working in the area of Somerton and Carter roads struck a utility pole, according to PECO spokesman Greg Smore.

The strike caused two system circuits to blow out, which would be why customers several miles from the site of the damaged utility pole were impacted, Smore said.
PECO crews were dispatched to make repairs and had customers back on by 11:42 a.m., the spokesman told LevittownNow.com.
