A doctor from Levittown was sentenced to several years probation for possessing child pornography.
Dr. Quentin Andrew Parker, 37, of Bristol Township’s Levittown section, was sentenced to five years probation Monday morning by Judge Jeffrey Finley. He pleaded guilty to charges of dissemination of photos or films of child sex acts, child pornography and criminal use of communication facility this fall. The 37-year-old will have to register as a sex offender for the next 15 years.

“I think it was a very appropriate sentence by Judge Finley. [Parker] certainly made a mistake and received a second chance,” Nicholas Mancini, Parker’s defense attorney, said after the sentencing.
Between April 19 and June 3, Parker downloaded 58 images and video files depicting female children between the ages of 9 to 13 engaged in sex acts, police said.
An FBI agent interviewed the doctor and, according to court papers, Parker admitted to downloading and viewing child pornography.

Investigators from the FBI, Bristol Township and Penndel raided Parker’s Dark Leaf Lane home in Bristol Township’s Levittown section in early June. A neighbor said authorities took the doctor into custody and walked out with bags of evidence. Police said in court papers they discovered more alleged child pornography on computers in the house.
Parker worked as a physician trainee for Aria Health, which operates hospitals in Falls Township and Philadelphia. A hospital spokesperson said there was “no indication that there were any inappropriate activities in relationship to Aria patients.”

Mancini said Parker is a “valued member of the community” and hopes to continue to practice medicine.
