Falls Police Investigate Possible Abduction

UPDATE: 2 Charged In Tuesday Kidnapping

Falls Township police said late Tuesday night that they are investigating a possible abduction.

Officers were called to Kennedy Drive in the Breeze Acres mobile home park off Lincoln Highway for the report of a disturbance around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday. Police said they were told two men forced a resident of the unit block of Kennedy Drive into a minivan they drove to the mobile home park.

Officers shortly after confirmed the resident was missing from his home.

At 3:40 p.m., the minivan returned to the mobile home park and was stopped by police. The Kennedy Drive resident was found unharmed in the vehicle and the two suspects were detained, police said. An investigator said one of the suspects were found with a knife.

The probe into the apparent abduction was continuing late Tuesday night.
