Crews from several companies were dispatched to the home in the 700 block of Bristol Pike around 11 a.m. Sunday morning. Upon arrival, flames were shooting from the attic of the structure, Falls Fire Company Chief Mike McClellan said.
Dippolito and McClellan both stated the nearest fire hydrant to the home was about 4,000 feet away. The chief said it also appeared to be frozen.
Water tanks on the fire trucks were used and quickly had the flames under control, officials said.

The residents said they had breaker problems before the fire, Dippolito said.
Around seven people, including the residents’ children and their friends, escaped from the home during the fire.
