
Kids young and old at heart didn’t mind that local meteorologists got it wrong Tuesday.
Dozensย of local children with the day off from school, took to the steep snow and leaf covered hill at Bolton Mansion in Levittown’s Holly Hill section for sledding, tubing and snowboarding fun.

With just a small coating of snow, children made the most of it, racing to the top of the historic hill, some going so fast they ended up in the yards of Holly Hill residents.
“Let’s go again Daddy!” said a young girl to her father. He asked if she was getting too cold, her answer, “no way!”
A storm that could have shut government and school buildings down for a few days, ended up being the perfect day for a ‘light’ snow day.
