The homeless and those in need in the Bristol community will be able to stay warm this summer thanks to over 100 winter coats that were donated recently.
Warming Hearts Project leader and Bristol Borough businessman Joe Nocito presented more than 100 coats to the congregation of Norton Avenue First Baptist Church in Bristol Township last week. The church distributed the coats to people in the community who can’t afford to purchase their own and would otherwise be without.

The coats, which were donated through several organizations, were presented at a praise-filled Dr. Martin Luther King Day ceremony last week.
Pastor James G. Evans III spoke during the service at the work the church does to help feed the community through a partnership with Philabundance and several businesses.
