A man is accused of selling drugs while his young child was in the car.

William Vaclavicek, 38, of Falls Township, was arrested and charged with multiple drug offenses and endangering the welfare of a child on Saturday. He was arraigned and sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $500,000 bail.

Officer Jarrod Eisenhauer pulled over a vehicle on Oxford Valley Road after he observed it turn without using a signal, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

When approaching the vehicle, Eisenhauer noticed the child and a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle, court papers say. An unidentified driver and Vaclavicek were also in the vehicle.

Officer Nicolas Pinto arrived and noticed “numerous white bags of suspected heroin” in the area of passenger floor, police said.

During a search of the vehicle, police discovered drug paraphernalia, marijuana and 10 loose bags that are commonly used to package drugs. A Newport cigarette box with 130 white bags filled with suspected heroin were also found in the vehicle, court papers say.

Officers allege in court documents that they found several bags of heroin “in the area of the defendant’s buttocks.”

The unidentified driver said he met with Vaclavicek and his 6-year-old daughter in the area of the Marriott Residence. In the area of the hotel, Vaclavicek sold the driver a single gram of marijuana for $20 while the little girl was in the car, court papers say.

Vaclavicek told police during his interview a story similar to that of the driver’s, according to court papers.

Police said Vaclavicek’s daughter was turned over to the custody of Bucks County Children and Youth.

Vaclavicek is already awaiting a preliminary hearing on a marijuana possession charge that was filed by Falls Township police in December.
