Despite Social Media Chatter, Students Are Safe At School, Superintendent Says


BTSDLate in the week, rumors that a student at Clara Barton Elementary School in Levittown had made threats was spread through social media.

The rumors, varying in the extent of the student’s alleged actions, worried parents, many told LevittownNow.com.

Bristol Township School District Superintendent Dr. Samuel Lee said he could not discuss any incidents involving students, but did want to reassure parents their kids are safe.

“Everyone is safe at Barton,” he said.

Bucks County District Attorney said his detectives are not activity investigating any threats in the township.
