Bristol Twp. Puts Holiday Trash Pick-Up Schedule into Effect for Christmas

Bristol Township officials announced Thursday a special garbage/recycling pickup schedule for the week of Christmas.

Refuse, trash and recycling collection for Monday, December 22 through Wednesday, December 24 will operate as normally schedule. According to officials, there will be no refuse or recycling collection on Thursday, December 25, in observance of the Christmas holiday. Pickups normally scheduled on December 25 will be delayed until Friday December 26.

According to the township website, pickups normally scheduled for December 26 will be delayed until Saturday December 27.

The township noted Friday on its website and social media pages that the township waste hauler will not collect Christmas trees until January 7. Collection of trees will last until Wednesday January 14. All lights and decorations must be removed from the trees before they are placed at the curb.

The Bristol Twp. administration building will be closed both December 24 and 25. The office will reopen Friday December 26 at 8:30 a.m. for needed assistance by residents. Residents are asked to call 215-785-0500 for additional information or for questions.
